There is such a rich and diverse history in the village of Indian Hill. For example the famous little red school house was built in 8173 and is on the national Register of historic places. The school house was actually active until 1935. The Village has a magical green thumb, and a true affinity for its abundant open spaces. The parcel of land now known as Indian Hill was initially purchased by John Symmes from the United States Government just after 1787. After many early encounters with Indians the area was eventually peacefully settled in 1795.
